Twist is a cut pile carpet made from twisted fibres, and is the most common style of tufted carpet. The twisted fibres have a coarse finish that creates a textured surface to the carpet. Twist carpet comes in two styles, plain or heathered (mottled). Heathered is ideal for busy areas in your house.

  • Practical choice


    Twist Pile is a popular and practical choice. Twist is a cut-pile carpet and is available in plain, flecked or patterned styles in 80% wool and 20% synthetic fibre, 50% wool and 50% synthetic fibre or 100% synthetic pile. Twists come in different pile weights from 30oz, the higher the weight the more durable the carpet will be.

      Due to different weights being available the same colour can be fitted throughout the home applying a heavier weight pile to heavy traffic areas like halls and stairs. A Twist pile carpet is easier to clean than a loop pile carpet and some are treated with a stain protector from the factory.
